Einstein's Equation Of Life And Death
n the summer of 1939 Albert Einstein was on holiday in a small resort town on the tip of Long Island. His peaceful summer, however, was about to be shattered by a visit from an old friend and colleague from his years in Berlin. The visitor was the physicist Leo Szilard. He had come to tell Einstein that he feared the Nazis could soon be in possession of a terrible new weapon and that something had to be done.

Nanook of the North (also known as Nanook of the North: A Story Of Life and Love In the Actual Arctic) is a 1922 silent documentary film by Robert J. Flaherty. The documentary follows the lives of an Inuit, Nanook, and his family as they travel, search for food, and trade in northern Quebec, Canada. Nanook, his wife, Nyla, and their baby, Cunayou, are introduced as fearless heroes who endure rigors "no other race" could survive. The film is considered the first feature-length documentary.

Frank Zappa
Musician Frank Zappa was born on Dec. 21, 1940, in Baltimore, Maryland. His work was intentionally shocking and politically charged. In the early days, he performed as the Mothers of Invention and released his first album in 1966 called Freak Out! He made more than 60 albums during his 30-year career. Freddie Mercury
Freddie Mercury, originally named Faroukh Bulsara, grew up in India and moved to Britain in 1964 to work for a time in Heathrow airport.
Initially a vocalist in a band called Wreckage, Mercury joined Queen in 1971. At this point, the band was made up of ex-Smile members Brian May on guitar and Roger Taylor on drums. John Deacon answered an advert in the music press to become the band's bassist.
Their early career saw them release the poorly received album 'Queen' in 1973, and go on tour extensively, supporting Mott the Hoople.

Biography Channel - Janis Joplin
Born January 19, 1943, in Port Arthur, Texas, Janis Joplin developed a love of music at an early age, but her career never really took off until she joined Big Brother in 1966. Their album Cheap Thrills was a huge hit, but caused strife between Joplin and the band. Joplin left and her second solo album became her most successful, but she died of an accidental overdose before it was released. (www.youtube.com)

Timewatch documentary - A Documentary, with dramatised elements, looking at the psychological profile of Adolf Hitler compiled by a team of Harvard psychologists in 1943. Interviewing former colleagues and the former family doctor who had fled to the USA and using Freudian techniques and theories of the day they came up with a profile and predicted how he would react to certain situations, concluding that he would not surrender and would be most likely to commit suicide when faced with defeat.
